Genus Management¶
The Genus section under Plant Settings allows users to view, edit, and manage different plant genera within the system. This includes viewing genus details, changing their information, and performing other administrative tasks related to genera.
Navigation¶
To access the Genus section:
- Click on the Settings icon in the left sidebar menu.
- Select Plant Settings from the dropdown options.
- Choose Genus from the sub-menu.
Genus Management Interface¶
Menus¶
Within the Genus interface, there are three menus:
- List: Displays a list of all genera with detailed information.
- Deleted: Shows genera that have been deleted.
- Activities: Likely displays a log of activities related to genus management.
Filters and Search¶
Show Entries¶
- Input Type: Dropdown
- Description: Allows you to select the number of entries to display per page.
- Options: 10, 25, 50
Search¶
- Input Type: Text field
- Description: Enables searching for specific genera by entering keywords such as genus name or ID.
Genus List¶
The genus list provides detailed information about each genus and includes the following columns:
Genus ID¶
- Description: Displays the unique identifier for the genus.
Name¶
- Description: Shows the name of the genus.
Action¶
- Description: Provides options to edit or delete the genus.
- Edit: Permits you to modify the genus's details.
- Delete: Allows you to remove the genus from the system.
